Garden Update April/May 21
Since the end of March and practically all of April I was locked out of my blog in a seemingly endless password battle, I’m just going to lump April’s garden update in here with May. Be prepared for lots of pictures.
I think with all the brush we’ve been clearing, and all the yard clippings, the best thing to do is build a hugelkultur mound. I’ve never built one, never mind grown in one, so this will be interesting.
Garden Update March ‘21
New house, new garden
Well, we moved and bought a house. Yay! That also means we have to start fresh with the garden. All the hard work I put into my perennial herbs, and berry patches, left behind. But it’s ok.
Garden Update: June 2020
I don’t have much going inside. Just a few cucurbit (squash, cucumber, pumpkin) seedlings that I started just in case my other ones bit the dust. I do however, have quite a few random odds and ends leftover outside on the greenhouse shelves. I’m contemplating selling them for cheap, if anyone local is interested.
Kita , Caveman, Goomba, Gummy Bear and Peanut are native New Englanders, who are working to live more self sufficient and sustainable lifestyle.
