This blog has been neglected for so long. To those of you who keep coming back to check on us, thank you, and I apologize. Life gets so crazy, but I’m sure you already know that.

I will be reviving this slowly. I don’t want you to feel neglected and forgotten anymore. I can’t promise that I’ll post once a week, or even once a month, but I’m going to try as often as I can. That also means I’m going to get back to all my homestead projects that have been put aside. I’ve been terrible at this lately, but for good reason....

I’d like to introduce you to the newest member of our clan....

​GUMMY BEAR!

After years and years of trying, and finally giving up, we found out last October that we were expecting! Gummy Bear was born in May, and life has gone from crazy to chaotic. I feel like I was a mombie (zombie mom, get it? 🤣). Bad joke, I know. But let me tell you, recovering from a c-section and caring for a newborn is one of the hardest things anyone can do. Kudos to all those moms who do it alone. I was lucky enough to have Caveman here for the first 4 weeks or so. I don’t know how I would've done it without his help.

Now that Gummy Bear is getting bigger, and Goomba is helping more around the house, I find that I can eek out a little time to do projects, and write again. I plan to keep this going, but juggling work, a baby, homestead projects, keeping myself healthy and a blog gets kind of tricky, so don’t shoot me if I drop it again. I promise to always keep picking it back up. Maybe someday I'll be able to do it full time...
