The attack

Fat kid loves cake
Have you ever had an anxiety attack? The stress, the panic, the overwhelming feeling of being under motivated and over stimulated…. I recently had one. I got nothing of importance done that day and my anxiety devoured that like a fat kid does cake. It’s incredibly frustrating. Especially because I was trying to catch up on all my chores from being ill the week before.

anxiety yogaLight exercise, like walking, or yoga may help.
What do you do when you have an attack? Are there any proven ways to lessen the severity? Do you have any triggers?

I know for me, recently, exercise helped. Not like a hardcore, sweat till you drop workout, mind you.  I’m talking about moderate exercise, like speed walking. Another thing that seemed to help was getting outside in the sun. I don’t know what the weather is like where you live, but here it’s been a real roller coaster, even for New England. Temperatures in the last week have gone from the low 20's to the high 50's and back again. They’re even calling for several days of snow next week. With it being so mild and sunny out, I had to take advantage. Luckily, I also have a wonderful hubby who is incredibly understanding. He always tries his hardest to help my through, and my attack subsided.
