Hey family and friends! Happy St. Patrick's Day again. We are at an interesting moment in history huh? State of emergency being declared by POTUS, schools closing, indefinitely, people going crazy over toilet paper. They've even started closing bars and restaurants. Never did I ever expect something like this in my lifetime. I thought my biggest moment of "where were you when...." was gonna be 9/11. In light of all of this craziness, I'd like to keep you guys updated on what's going on where we are. Not the gloom and doom of the media, mind you. Just the everyday things we are doing to keep busy and stay ahead of the potential chaos. Feel free to chime in and share what you're up to, or even how you're feeling. Let's stick together and support one another. I truly believe that's how we as a country are going to get thru this and come out stronger.

Hello again friends! I have some Exciting news! Those of you who know me personally know that I am an avid chrocheter, or as we like to call ourselves, happy hookers. 😂. I have tried in the past to get a shop up and running, selling my handmade wares, to no avail. But, I think this time is different. There seems to be more interest in adorable critter hats than fancy Peruvian wool scarves. So, without further ado, I’d like to introduce you to Critter Caps by Stephanie!
As you all know, this summer I pretty much skipped gardening. With Gummy Bear taking up most of my time, I didn’t get outside much. So, with the cold weather soon approaching I had a great idea! I’m gonna build myself a hoop house to extend the growing season for as long as possible. I’ve never built anything like this before, but the plans inside my head are pretty straightforward. I tried discussing my ideas with Caveman, but he and I weren’t understanding each other, so I’m gonna do this one myself. The hoop house is going to go on the other other half of the herb garden bed. I’m thinking simple pvc or electrical piping (whichever is cheaper), a wood frame and plastic sheeting should do the trick. Stay tuned for the process!
I took my first sports trip! It was so amazing. I missed driving the bus so much, but I missed trips especially.
There is is nothing better than being paid to go discover different areas of the state, and sometimes other states. This particular trip was so exciting because the school we went to had a beautiful walking path, thru the woods, with all sorts of goodies to discover. |
